One of the big strugglers we face is the climate crisis, one of the big contributions to global warming is greenhouse gasses, where CO2 is of great interest, a promising method to reduce CO2 emission is to store CO2.

This can be done by absorbing CO2 from high concentration emission of CO2 as from power plants that is power bye natural gas or biofuels. The process of absorbing the CO2 is study intensely. In this lecture there will be focused on the thermodynamics behind the prosses, the fundamental thermodynamics and phase equilibrium. After the fundamentals is sat there will be look at what the requirements for a good absorbing liquid is.
